At Bozello, our vision is clear:
To package pistachios and deliver them to customers in their freshest and highest-quality form at the most reasonable price.
In 2017, we expanded into Europe by establishing a new branch in Wrocław, Poland, marking the beginning of our journey to serve the European market directly. From harvesting pistachios straight from the tree to processing, roasting, and packaging, every step is carefully managed by us. Our product range includes roasted salted pistachios, raw pistachios, pistachio kernels, and meverdi. Bozello proudly collaborates with partners across Europe, including companies in the ice cream, halva, chocolate, and retail distribution sectors.
We are also committed to our social responsibility. During the harvest season, we provide employment opportunities for Syrian refugees, supporting local communities and ensuring fair and ethical production practices.
About Pistachios
The pistachio (Pistacia vera) is a small tree of the cashew family (Anacardiaceae), thriving in dry lands with warm or temperate climates. Believed to have originated in Iran, it is widely cultivated from Afghanistan to the Mediterranean and even in California.
Pistachios can be eaten fresh or roasted and are essential ingredients in baklava, halva, ice cream, and many other desserts. They are also valued for their vibrant green color, which is used naturally in confections. Rich in protein, healthy fats, dietary fiber, and vitamin B6, pistachios are both nutritious and delicious.
The pistachio tree rarely exceeds 9 meters (30 feet) in height and bears clusters of white fruits that split open to reveal greenish kernels enclosed in reddish skins. The trees are dioecious, meaning male and female trees are separate and for optimal pollination, male trees are planted among female ones in a ratio of 1:5 or 1:6.
