Description
Before harvest, Gaziantep Turkish pistachios that do not naturally split their hard shells on the tree (around 30%) are classified as “Natural (Naturel)”. After harvest, the pistachios go through pre-sorting and cleaning, and then without any size calibration the portion that did not naturally open is mechanically cracked to obtain this product. The pistachios are roasted in their shells with salt at 150°C. The salt content is maximum 0.9%. After roasting, the product is packaged in the requested sizes and weights and shipped to customers. Since this product is not calibrated by size, the kernels vary from small to large. It consists of a blend of 70% naturally split pistachios (Ana Çıtlak) and 30% machine-cracked pistachios. Natural Roasted pistachios are typically consumed as a standard-quality snack nut.
